 Dr. Dinesh Awasthi, Ph.D (Economics), Gujarat University Ex-Director, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad An Economist with extensive experience in Entrepreneurship education, research and training. Worked extensively on policy issues related to SMEs with several multilateral agencies like ILO, UNIDO, UNDP, as a Consultant on several international assignments. Has four books, over 55 research papers and 14 research reports to his credit. His areas of interest are: policy research, cluster development, sub-sector analysis, micro-finance and rural banking, rural entrepreneurship and NGOs. Dr. Awasthi is a Member of various Apex Committees and Core Groups of Ministries of MSME, Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation, Department of Science & Technology, etc. |

Jayaraman is the Professor and Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship Studies, Madurai Kamaraj University. Earlier he served as the Syndicate Member of Madurai Kamaraj University as a nominee of His Excellency the Governor of Tamil Nadu during the period 1994 – 1997. He has introduced a number of innovations in Higher Education and his responsible for introducing Entrepreneurship as a compulsory subject in Management Education and also in vocational courses. For around two decades i.e. 1989 to 2009, he served as the Member Secretary of Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (Tamil Nadu)." |
